The Geipel Autoworks Story

The journey of Geipel Autoworks began with a simple idea: there has to be a better way to take care of people and their vehicles. Our founders, Kenneth Geipel and Akhter Ahmed, fascinated by how things work, began their official careers in the automotive world as teenagers. They quickly developed a deep expertise, gaining hands-on experience with major brands, working in independent shops, and even participating in prototype engine testing. Collectively, our team holds numerous credentials, including Master Technician and ASE Master with L1 Advanced Certifications.
 
Despite their successful careers in dealerships, corporate settings, and independent shops, they felt something was missing. They envisioned a shop where customers weren’t treated as transactions but as part of a community, where communication, honesty, quality work, and exceptional service were the foundation of every interaction.
 
That vision became a reality in 2020 when the first Geipel Autoworks location opened with a small auto repair shop. Now they’ve grown a dedicated team of professionals who share the founders’ passion for treating people right.
